I live in Germany and we have a long tradition with tattoos. It all started in Hamburg Harbour and the Reeperbahn (The Reeperbahn is a street in Hamburg‘s St. Pauli district, the centre of Hamburg’s nightlife and also the city’s red-light district. In German it is also called “die sündige Meile” (“the sinful mile”), or simply “der Kiez“.) The Sailors tattoos from there are well known through our country around the 50th slowly spreading it over the rest of germany. My Mom, now age 72, had a small rose on her hip.
Tattoos are have a very much longer tradition in some countrys like Japan or from the cultures of Polynesia.Tattoos this days are a world wide accepted body decoration… Not anymore.
Some San Antonio apartment complexes are refusing to rent to people with tattoos and body piercings. It’s against the law for landlords to discriminate based on the color of a person’s skin. But can they reject you because of what’s on your skin?
